Please note that this meeting is on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6.

This meeting will be a lab where we’ll do several short panel discussions, in preparation for public Twin Cities Sisters in Crime speakers bureau events in bookstores and libraries. About HIDE AND SNAKE MURDER:

From Library Journal

“The sophomore outing for lesbian coffee shop owner Shay (Bingo Barge Murder) and her entourage of loveable and multigenerational characters is just right for those looking for a madcap romp. Think Rita Lakin and Don Bruns for compatible authors.”

From Kirkus:

“A misfit crew band together in an antic misadventure… along the way, the group ends up mixed up with a crooked cop, a group of circus performers, and a powerful drug lord… Fans of Chandler will appreciate the character development and sense of humor.”

From Publishers Weekly:

“In Chandler’s rip-roaring sequel to Bingo Barge Murder (2011), [f]ans of comic cozies are in for a wild, enjoyable ride.”

From Crimespree Magazine:

“This is a fast-moving tale… Great cast of characters along with Kate and Shay’s girlfriend JT, and Shay’s four-legged drooling, long-tongued Dawg. Lots of laughs.”

Praise for SHUNNING SARAH:

“Remember Witness—that truly thrilling movie with Harrison Ford in his heyday? Shunning Sarah is an even better suspense story filled with horse-driven buggies and folks in black hats.”
—James Patterson, New York Times bestselling author

“Julie Kramer superbly blends two very different worlds—television news and the mysterious society of the Amish. Shunning Sarah is a compelling novel chock full of all the elements readers of crime fiction crave. Riley Spartz is a very human heroine—and a force to be reckoned with. You will remember her and this story long after you finish the book—and anxiously await the next installment.”
—Linda Castillo, New York Times bestselling author

“This series is more addictive than 24/7 cable news. A captivating heroine you’ll root for and a shocking ending you won’t see coming, Shunning Sarah delivers with a satisfying punch.”
—Alex Kava, New York Times bestselling author

“A stunning entry in this dynamic series with a fascinating glimpse into two worlds unknown to most of us: the Amish and the behind-the-scenes truth about local TV news. Talk about a culture clash!”
—Karen Harper, New York Times bestselling author

About TRICKSTER’S POINT:

The latest in the New York Times bestselling Cork O’Connor mystery series—the action never stops when the private detective ends up in the crosshairs of a political assassin.

In Trickster’s Point, the unsinkable Cork O’Connor is sitting in the shadow of a towering monolith known as Trickster’s Point, deep in the Minnesota wilderness. Beside him is the first Native American governor-elect, Jubal Little, who is slowly dying with an arrow through his heart. Although the men have been bow hunting, this is no accident. The arrow in the governor’s heart belongs to Cork.

When he becomes the primary suspect in the murder, Cork understands full well that he’s been set up. As he works to clear his name and track the real killer, he recalls his long, complex relationship with Jubal, the Native kid who aspired to be a populist politician and grew to become a cunning man capable of treachery and murder. As Cork looks deeply into his own past, he comes face to face with the many motives, good and ill, that lead men and women into the difficult, sometimes deadly, political arena.

With crisp writing filled with the twists and turns his fans have come to expect, Krueger delivers another knockout novel of suspense.
