The fall certainly started with a bang this year, with lots of new books by Twin Cities Sisters in Crime members, not to mention KILLER COCKTAILS @ MLA, and the Twin Cities Book Festival. Thanks to everyone who made those two events happen! Now we’ve got some outreach to do to libraries across the state, and a few Speakers’ Bureau events to organize.
We’ll also have our annual officer elections on November 7, so bring your volunteer impulses! I’m going to be stepping down as president after two terms, so we’re looking for someone who can help spearhead our activities for the next year or two. I’m more than willing to help the next leader carry on some of the things we’ve started, of course. Please be thinking about how you can serve Twin Cities Sisters in Crime. We’ve got a great some great energy for moving forward, so let’s keep that going.
We’ll also be making plans for our December holiday gathering, and will be sending around a signup sheet for people to bring items for the potluck. We’ve had a great time at this event in the past, and look forward to seeing everyone there!
