Twin Cities Sisters in Crime is dedicated to the professional development and advancement of mystery writers, with a special focus on women writers. We offer a supportive network that includes mystery writers at all stages of their careers and a surrounding community of Minnesota mystery lovers.

 Our chapter, along with the international Sisters in Crime organization, supports writers with resources to promote:

For Readers

At Twin Cities Sisters in Crime we are, first and always, fans of the mystery genre. For readers of all the mystery genres—including true crime, cozy mysteries, suspense, thrillers, short stories, romantic suspense and more, we offer speakers and events all around Minnesota, easy ways to find out about new books by your favorite Minnesota mystery authors, and a window into the Twin Cities mystery writing community.

Our chapter also sponsors the monthly Minnesota Mystery Night on the third Monday of each month. This event features local and national mystery writers in conversation, including a number of our members. Past authors include William Kent Krueger, David Housewright, Tracy Clark, and Lori Rader-Day.

For Librarians

We love libraries! Librarians consistently tell us that mysteries and suspense represent one of the most active sections of their fiction collections. We share that passion and offer a number of programs especially for Minnesota libraries.
